About

Hughie Brennan is a freelance music composer from the Northwest of England. He has been actively engaged in the music business since 1992, when he started out as a singer/songwriter.

In that time he has gained experience writing and recording music in various bands, for short films, book trailer promotional videos, websites plus music for other musicians. He has also spent a lot of this time performing live here in the UK and abroad.

In 2008 he was one of five finalists in the theme song competition for the James Bond book 'Devil May Care' from Penguin Books. The track features a great vocal by singer/songwriter Tricia McTeague.

Hughie co-wrote the final scene music track with Andy McClelland for the new Neil Fitzmaurice (Phoenix Nights) film, 'Charlie Noades R.I.P.' cinema released January 2011. Neil wrote the screen play and stars along side John Thomson (Cold feet), Dave Spikey (Phoenix nights), and John Henshaw (Born and Bred) plus some other great acting talent. For more info on the film go to North Star Productions.
